Kosher BBQ Restaurant Establishes First Manhattan Location

Colliers International secured a 10-year lease for award-winning restaurant Izzy’s BBQ Smokehouse at 660 Amsterdam Ave. on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. A Colliers team of executive director David Tricarico and associate director Jake Horowitz represented the landlord and Scott Feldberg from GPG Retail Management represented the tenant.

Izzy’s BBQ Smokehouse is an award-winning kosher restaurant that first opened in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. This location will be Izzy’s first Manhattan outpost and will serve the Upper West Side community as well as those in Bergen and Rockland Counties.

“We are thrilled to bring one of New York’s finest culinary experiences to the Upper West Side,” said Horowitz. “This deal is a testament to New Yorkers’ resilience. Even after a year that’s been incredibly difficult for retail and restaurants, the opening of Izzy’s BBQ Smokehouse serves as an indicator that the city’s recovery is already underway.”
