Korean Food Hall Inks Lease for Midtown Locale
Savitt Partners has inked a multi-level retail lease for a Korean food hall at 218 W. 40th St., a 166,000-square-foot boutique office property. KFF Inc., an Asian superstore and food hall, will occupy 10,316 square feet on the ground floor and 5,192 square feet on the mezzanine level, along with 7,419 square feet of basement space.
Brian Neugeboren, Nicole Goetz and Bob Savitt serve as the exclusive leasing agents for the property, and represented the ownership in the lease negotiations. Winick Realty’s Young Byunn represented KFF.
“KFF’s commitment to 218 W. 40th further demonstrates the area’s explosion as a major hub for fast-casual dining,” said Neugeboren. The combination of the building’s central location and quality ownership made the property “ideal for the Asian superstore’s growth in New York City.”
Among the other tenants at 218 W. 40th are Touro College, DEFINITION 6, National Academy Foundation, Urban Outfitters and Avery Dennison.
