KORE Taps CushWake to Lease Downers Grove Trophy

KORE Investments hired Cushman & Wakefield to lease 3500 Lacey, a 583,983-square-foot office building in Downers Grove, IL. KORE closed on its purchase of the property in late November, reportedly for $128.5 million.

Located at the intersection of I-88 and I-355, 3500 Lacey was built in 1992 as Spiegel Inc.’s global headquarters and later became home to the global headquarters of Sara Lee. Notable tenants include HAVI Global Solutions, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Optimum Nutrition and Invesco Exchange-Traded Funds.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Cummins, Kevin Clifton, Michael Simpson, Dan Svachula and Allyson Birchmeier are handling the property leasing.

“We are thrilled to be working with KORE Investments on this unbelievable project,” said Cummins. “3500 Lacey has always maintained a strong reputation in the East-West Suburban market, and we are excited to bring it to a whole new level of excellence.”
