Koontz Breaks Ground on Foster Ridge Distribution

Koontz Corp. broke ground on Foster Ridge Distribution Center, a 327,000-square-foot, cross-dock, speculative industrial facility in San Antonio. The project was designed by Powers Brown Architecture and is scheduled for a Q1 2019 completion date. R.C. Page is the general contractor.

Situated on 21 acres, Foster Ridge is on Foster Road and Interstate 10 in San Antonio’s northeast corridor. The submarket contains 35.7 million square feet of distribution space, with the occupancy averaging 93.9%. The facility can accommodate either a single tenant or multiple smaller ones.

Colby Mueck, John Taylor and Trent Agnew with HFF arranged construction financing through Voya Investment Management, and structured a joint-venture equity partnership with Catlyn Capital Corp.
