Knotel Takes Another 27K-SF at 40 Exchange Place
Knotel signed another big lease — this time for 27,000 square feet of office space at 40 Exchange Place, a 20-story, 300,000-square-foot tower in Manhattan’s Financial District.
Earlier in August, Knotel announced another 17,464-square-foot lease for space in the Flatiron District. Knotel is a network of “custom locations that provide modern businesses with custom headquarters.”
The owners of 40 Exchange Pl. have also had a busy summer. In addition to Knotel, January Digital, a digital marketing agency, signed for 4,554 square feet, represented by Savills Studley. Breather, another co-working company, signed for 1,250 square feet, represented by CBRE.
“We invested significant capital that turned this property into a beautifully renovated modern office building in a great location,” said Ran Eliasaf, managing partner for Northwind Group. In November 2015, Newmark Holdings and Northwind Group acquired 40 Exchange Place, and have since enacted a comprehensive capital improvement program for the property.
