Knotel Adds More Space in Union Square, Flatiron
Short-term office space provider Knotel has expanded again in the Flatiron District and Union Square, adding a total of 30,000 square feet. The firm closed on 14,000 square feet over two floors at Union Square West, and 16,000 square feet at 43 W. 24th St.
Michael Morris and Greg DiGioia of NKF represented Knotel on the Union Square lease, and also represented landlord Brause Realty. On the 24th St. deal, Elie Reiss of Skylight Leasing represented Knotel, and Olmstead advised landlord The Rosen Group.
The new leases come two weeks after Knotel announced a $25-million Series A round of fundraising. The adaptable-headquarters firm has already opened 10 locations in New York, and this investment round will be used to add 40 more locations in the next year.
