Knoll Will Set Up Shop in the Fulton District
Knoll Inc. is moving from the Merchandise Mart, where it’s been a presence for nearly five decades, to new construction at Shapack Partners’ 811 Fulton in the Fulton Street Market District. The workplace and residential furniture designer has leased 24,000 square feet of showroom and office space as an anchor tenant for the 70,000-square-foot property.
A Savills Studley team of Renae Bradshaw, John Goodman and Robert Sevim represented Knoll in leasing negotiations. “Knoll’s move to Fulton Market, Chicago’s hottest emerging neighborhood, reflects the distinguished brand’s forward-thinking philosophy and positions the company for the next stage of growth in the Chicago region,” said Bradshaw.
Knoll’s design director, Benjamin Pardo, added, “In 811 Fulton, Knoll has found an architectural setting that supports our interest in integrated design, and we expect it will energize the next generation of architects, designers and clients to create inspired modern interiors.” Move-in is slated for January 2019.
