Kleinfelder Finds The Paladion a Nice Fit for its HQ
Kleinfelder recently leased 26,944 square feet of office space at The Paladion, a four-story class-A 167,000-square-foot building located at 770 First Ave. in downtown San Diego. Kleinfelder will use the space for its headquarters which it is relocating from another downtown building.
“Kleinfelder is proud to call San Diego home for our company’s headquarters as we continue to successfully partner with clients and communities throughout the San Diego area,” says John Moossazadeh, area manager for Kleinfelder in San Diego. “This facility will further enhance Kleinfelder’s strong company culture, values and commitment to improving the regional infrastructure and protecting the environment.”
Recently developed by Bosa and designed by JWDA Architecture, The Paladion offers immediate move-in ready options for office and life science companies seeking large floorplates in a central downtown location near Horton Plaza.
JLL’s Tony Russell and Richard Gonor represented the landlord, Bosa, in the lease. Kleinfelder was represented by Joe Bernstein of JLL.
“While the San Diego office leasing market was slowed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are seeing a surge of companies moving forward with future relocation and expansion decisions,” said Russell. “Companies want an inviting building with outdoor space and where their employees feel safe and healthy.”
