TruAmerica Multifamily acquired Grand at Westside Apartments, a 336-unit apartment community at 3250 Douglas Grand Dr. in Kissimmee. As part of the transaction, TruAmerica assumed the existing Fannie Mae loan. This investment will be TruAmerica’s 19th property in the Orlando metro, making up 7,000 apartments.

Built in 2015, Grand at Westside is a garden-style community comprised of 14, three-story buildings, a clubhouse and five garage buildings on nearly 19 acres. The property offers one- to four-bedroom floor plans averaging 1,107 square feet. Property amenities include a pool with cabanas, fitness center, fire pits, pet oasis, playground, putting green, media lounge, game room, and business center. TruAmerica plans to execute improvements to all units including a tech package upgrade and replacing bedroom carpets with plank flooring. Planned community improvements include updates to the pool area, amenity spaces, and exterior paint.
