7700 S Jeffery in Chicago’s South Shore has sold for the second time in two years

Kiser Group’s Birk | Sklar Team Sells South Shore Property for Second Time

Kiser Group’s Birk | Sklar Team recently closed a 26-unit multifamily property at 7700 S Jeffery in Chicago’s South Shore for $1.775 million. This is the second time the team has sold the property in two years.

“Selling this property for the second time in two years proves the demand in this market,” said partner Aaron Sklar. “This sale provides the opportunity to add value to the building and be able to capitalize in a short period of time.”

The courtyard property at 7700 S Jeffery comprises 26 spacious one-bedroom units, half of which feature updated kitchens and/or bathrooms. The area is slated with a number of developments including the Obama Presidential Library along with the community’s Invest South/West initiative.

“We’ve been seeing a strong upward momentum in both purchase price and demand for quality, stable assets in South Shore and its surrounding neighborhoods,” said Sklar.
