Kiser Brokers 7 Multifamily Deals on the South Side

Kiser Group recently brokered a four-building portfolio and three other multifamily buildings on Chicago’s South Side. With the second quarter now closed, senior director Noah Birk and Director Aaron Sklar have 30 buildings either sold or under contract throughout South Side neighborhoods.

“The values of apartment buildings on the South Side have appreciated rapidly, and sale velocity is not slowing down,” said Birk. He said out-of-state buyers are especially drawn to the market.

Birk and Sklar represented Foreit Properties in the $1.65-million sale of a 32-unit South Side Portfolio. They represented both the buyer, Nicki Enterprises, and seller, a local developer, in the $489,500 sale of a six unit building, and did the same for buyer Chicago Shore Fund and seller Ash Realty in a 13-unit building which sold for $420,000. Most recently, the duo represented Ash in a six-unit building at 7250 S. Yale (pictured), which traded for $260,000.
