Kinzie Builders Promotes Shepard to Construction VP

Chicago-bsed Kinzie Builders promoted Matthew Shepard to VP of construction. In this newly created role, Shepard will oversee projects from the pre-construction phase through completion.

“In his nearly five-year tenure at Kinzie Builders, Matt has demonstrated an exceptional knack for working with all parties involved in a project – from clients to subcontractors – in creating collaborative plans that meet deadlines and maximize resources,” said Steve Spinell, principal at Kinzie. “His ability to synthesize complex projects and streamline schedules, operations and budgets, has been a huge contributing factor in our success with some of our biggest projects to date.”

At Kinzie, Shepard has played an instrumental role in suburban Chicago developments including 444 Social, a 302-unit apartment development in Lincolnshire; Marq on Main, a 203-unit apartment building in Lisle; and 10 North Main, a suburban transit-oriented development in Mount Prospect.
