Kilroy Realty Submits Plans for Santa Monica Class A Office
Kilroy Realty has submitted plans to the City of Santa Monica for a preliminary review of its design and landscape plans for two new Class A office buildings, three and four stories respectively, totaling 125,265 square feet paired to the renovation of an existing three-story 45,529-square-foot office building and parking lot. The completed campus will surround a central courtyard open to Pennsylvania Avenue, and offer ground floor restaurant/retail space and three subterranean levels of parking containing 399 spaces.
The proposed campus is in the Bergamot Transit Village (BTV) District, an area the city leaders hope to transform from an industrial area with little street presence to a lively, mixed-use area with office projects providing jobs near the city’s easternmost Expo Line station and residential uses that support transit-oriented lifestyles.
Santa Monica-based Belzberg Architects is handling architecture, with with DTLA-based RELM Studio handling landscape architecture.
