Kids Empire Pushes into Texas, Takes Space in DFW

Indoor playground provider Kids Empire entered Texas with its 15,000-square-foot lease at Towne Crossing Shopping Center in Mesquite, TX. The Southern California-based company is expanding throughout the United States, and is actively looking for space throughout Texas.

Robin Barrow an Eddie Liebman with Weitzman handled the Mesquite deal, and are exploring likely expansion sites in Austin, Houston and San Antonio, as well as Dallas-Fort Worth. Landlord Phillips Edison & Co. was represented in-house by Chris Young. The 167,921-square-foot Towne Crossing Shopping Center on Gus Thomasson Rd. in suburban Dallas is anchored by a Kroger grocery store.

Kids Empire, an indoor theme park for children, opened in 2016 and is expanding through franchising. The model offers children a safe, high-quality place to play, while under supervision of parents. The space also includes cafes, with a selection of drinks and hot and cold foods.
