Seattle-based commercial real estate services firm Kidder Matthews is growing in San Diego. The firm has just made two key hires in hopes to expand its retail, office and overall investment-services businesses.

Mary Kay Bier is now a first vice president at the firm and specializes in office and retail transactions. She was formerly with Lee & Associates and Cushman & Wakefield, where she sold and leased over one million square feet of space in San Diego and Riverside County.

Michael Jordan (not to be confused with the former basketball superstar) is now a senior vice president and used to work at CBRE and Cushman. He has done about 445 transactions totaling in excess of 24.6 million square feet of space.
