Kidder Mathews Handles DTx Pharma Deal at Longfellow’s SOVA South Project
San Diego-based DTx Pharma subleased 14,123 square feet of life science lab space at SOVA Science District South in San Diego. The biotech company that specializes in RNA medicines claimed space at 10655 Sorrento Valley Rd. that offered a turnkey solution for the fast-growing ventured backed pharmaceutical company.
SOVA Science District is a 400,000-square-foot modern tech and life sciences campus owned by Longfellow, a life sciences and technology real estate development and investment company. Longfellow recently rebranded its entire Sorrento Valley portfolio (Sycamore Creek Research Park) into SOVA Science District North, Central, and South.
Kidder Mathews’ John Hundley and Jon Engle represented DTx Pharma in the transaction.
Engle says, “We love advising teams like DTx Pharma that have strong leadership, big vision, passion, and are committed to creating a culture of innovation. Completing this deal amidst a turbulent COVID-19 context demonstrates that deals are still getting done, and we were pleased to be a part of this great outcome and to contribute to DTx Pharma’s promising future.”
