Kidder Mathews Completes Exchange of MF Portfolio in Shoreline

The Simon | Anderson Multifamily Team at Kidder Mathews completed an exchange on behalf of longtime client John Stephanus, selling four legacy properties in the Seattle area and purchasing The Postmark Apartments, a 243-unit contemporary community in Shoreline, Washington.

Dylan Simon, Jerrid Anderson, Matt Laird, and JD Fuller represented John Stephanus as the buyer in The Postmark transaction. Proceeds from those sales were used to purchase The Postmark, completing a strategic repositioning from vintage assets held for more than 50 years into a newly constructed property strategically located near the client’s other holdings.

Delivered in 2020, The Postmark property offers a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes with high-end finishes and modern layouts. Positioned in Shoreline’s North City neighborhood, The Postmark benefits from walkable retail and transit, including immediate access to the North/185th light rail station, which provides direct service to downtown Seattle and regional job centers.
