Kidder Mathews Arranges Sale of 22-Unit Fremont Apartment Property

The Francis, a 22-unit apartment community located at 3636 Francis Avenue N. in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, has sold for $7 million. Matt Laird and Jack Shephard of Kidder Mathews’ Simon | Anderson Multifamily Team served as the exclusive brokers representing the seller, Trimark Property Group, and sourced the buyer, Curtis Capitol Group.

Built in 1988, The Francis offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. The acquisition delivers Curtis Capitol Group a value-add opportunity featuring updated building systems and continued upside potential.

“This transaction reflects the continued depth of investor demand for quality multifamily investments in the city’s urban core, assets that are difficult to replicate and located where renters consistently want to live,” said Laird. Situated on the north side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, just miles from downtown Seattle, the property is surrounded by employers, dining, shopping, and cultural amenities.
