Kidder Mathews Arranges Four Portland Deals Worth $80M
Kidder Mathews has represented Portland, Oregon-based investment company Allen Properties, LLC in the acquisition and disposition of four real estate properties in the Portland metro area. The two industrial asset sales and a retail purchase along with an office purchase totaled just over $80 million.
Allen Properties sold the J&D Refrigerated Services cold storage building (pictured) in Clackamas for $38 million, one of the largest cold storages sales in the region in 2022. The buyer was Cre-Provender Clackamas, LLC, an investor that specializes in food specific properties.
A second cold storage warehouse in Clackamas was also traded for $9 million in an all-cash transaction. The buyer was Watamull Property Corporation. Kidder’s Zach Francis, Karla Hansen and Chris Dowhaniuk brokered the transaction.
Along with the dispositions, Allen Properties also purchased a parcel at Vancouver Mall for $28 million in a 1031 exchange.. The seller of the Vancouver, WA shopping center was Rhino Holdings Vancouver LLC. The company also bought a Lake Oswego, OR office building for $6 million in an all-cash 1031 exchange transaction.
