Kevin Welsh, Brian Schulz Join NKF from CBRE
Two of New Jersey’s top capital markets brokers left CBRE for Newmark Knight Frank (NKF). Kevin Welsh and Brian Schulz joined the Rutherford, NJ-based Northern New Jersey office, as executive managing director and managing director, respectively.
NKF Capital Markets’ Robert Griffin said, “We are excited about the opportunity to expand our rapidly-growing capital markets presence throughout the country. This will create an additional foundation to strategically grow a single capital markets platform across product types and markets to consistently serve clients when and where they see opportunities.”
Three additional team members, Chuck Kohaut, Jason Emrani and Maria Betancourt, are also part of the move to NKF. The group will service the entire suburban Tri-State area.
The brokerage firm had been known previously as Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, but is dropping Grubb from its name.
