Kevin Colard Promoted to CIO at Weidner
Weidner Apartment Homes promoted Kevin Colard to Chief Investment officer of the Kirkland-based apartment owner. He previously served as the company’s VP of Acquisitions, and this is a new post for the company.
Colard joined Weidner in 2006 and moved up the ranks, joining the executive team to lead acquisitions. The new role is an extension of Colard’s work over the last four years in the acquisitions position.
Earlier in his commercial real estate career, Colard served as a senior loan analyst at Intervest Mortgage and was a broker at Marcus & Millichap.
Founded in 1977, Weidner ranks No. 14 on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s list of the largest apartment owners. The firm owns and manages more than 280 properties totaling 56,500 units in North America.
