Kenwood Management Company Buys Ellicott City Office Building for $3M

Kenwood Management Company has purchased a 19,259-square-foot commercial office building in Ellicott City, Maryland, for $3.25 million from KMS Associates.

The building, constructed in 2000, sits on a 2.5-acre site with surface parking space. The property is fully leased and occupied by a mix of medical and traditional office space tenants.

Owen Rouse and David McClatchy of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller. The buyer was self-represented in the transaction. “Despite the continuing negative headlines about rising interest rates and the purported toxicity of the suburban office asset class, tremendous opportunities persist for sellers and investors both locally and nationally,” said Rouse.
