Kennedy Wilson Acquires The Eisley Near Downtown Sacramento

The Eisley, a 405-unit multifamily community that is currently under construction on 14 acres at 1567 Bartlett Way in Sacramento, was recently purchased by Kennedy Wilson. The 366,638-square-foot property is expected to be completed by spring 2022.

Tampa-based DeBartolo Development and its local development partner, SKK Development, confidentially exposed the opportunity to a select group of qualified buyers. Luis Elorza and Bryan Schellinger, managing directors with NorthMarq in Tampa and Los Angeles, identified the buyer based upon its ability to fund single-asset Opportunity Zone transactions.

NorthMarq also represented the seller partnership. The sale of The Eisley represents the second successful disposition of more than $100 million in the past year between DeBartolo Development LLC and SKK Development.

Andrew Behrens, Jesse Weber and Scott Williams of CBRE arranged a bridge loan on behalf of the buyer, Kennedy Wilson and its partner.

“The Eisley is a high-quality asset that will provide much-needed housing in Sacramento as the region continues to grow,” said Weber.

The Eisley sits approximately 6 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento adjacent to I-80. The community will be comprised of 13 three- to four-story buildings with a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
