Kemper Development Selects Eastdil Secured Savills to Lead Bellevue Collection Sale

Following the recent announcement that the Freeman family, owners of Kemper Development Company (KDC), was exploring a sale of The Bellevue Collection, KDC has selected Eastdil Secured Savills to provide guidance for the next phase of the sales process.

The Bellevue Collection is one of the country’s largest mixed-use retail, dining, residential, hotel, office and entertainment destinations. The Bellevue Collection spans more than 5.5 million square feet and includes Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square North and South. Within the properties are three office towers, three hotels, luxury apartments, two movie theaters and 200 stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

“Choosing the right advisor for a property of this significance was never just about identifying a buyer; it was about finding a partner who understood the legacy, opportunity and responsibility that come with it,” said Jim Melby, CEO of Kemper Development Company.
