Kearny Mesa Office Asset Trades Hands
San Diego-based Crown Investments acquired Airport Plaza, a 49,517-square foot office building in San Diego’s Kearny Mesa market, for $5.9 million. The three-story property is at 8555 Aero Dr., and was sold by Hudson Advisors.
The multi-tenant office asset is in the heart of Central San Diego, and boasts a diverse mix of professional tenants. Renovations were recently completed, including to the restrooms and common areas.
Colliers International’s Derek Applbaum represented the buyer. Cushman & Wakefield’s Derek Hulse advised the seller.
Hulse said, “The building was approximately 80% leased at the time of sale, with only a handful of small vacant suites, one of which the seller recently pre-built out on a speculative basis.”
