KDC to Develop 750K-SF Office Building Near Nashville

Developer KDC, along with partners SouthStar and Chartwell Hospitality, plan to build a 750,000-square-foot office building at the Aureum mixed-use development in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, TN.

Aureum is a 22-acre mixed-use development that will include 100,000 square feet of retail developed by SouthStar, three hotels with a total of 700 rooms by Chartwell Hospitality, and 480 residential units developed by SouthStar and Chartwell Hospitality. KDC is slated to begin construction on the office component of the complex in the first quarter of 2020.

“Aureum sits at the bullseye of what will be the densest and busiest intersection in Williamson County and predicted to be one of the busiest in the state, making it the premiere location for a project of this type,” said Glenn Wilson, CEO of SouthStar. “We are excited to partner with KDC, a developer who brings years of experience in creating major office developments within mixed-use projects, along with a proven record of securing large corporate tenants.”
