KDC, Broadway Station Partners Join Forces on Denver’s 1M-SF Santa Fe Yards

KDC of Texas formed a joint venture with Denver-based Broadway Station Partners to develop up to one million square feet of office space. The four-building project, dubbed Santa Fe Yards, will be part of the 41-acre Broadway Station transit-oriented development between downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center.

The mixed-use Broadway Station, bounded by Interstate 25, Santa Fe Drive, South Broadway and Mississippi Avenue, was once the site of the Gates Rubber Co. plant, the remnants of which were cleared away in 2018. Broadway Station Partners acquired the site in 2014.

Santa Fe Yards is approximately a five-minute walk from the recently-announced mixed-use development, Gates District at Broadway Station, which will be northwest of Broadway and Mississippi Avenue, and east of the light rail tracks. The 10-acre development will include 887 residential units, 380,000 square feet of office space, and 180,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space across a five-building layout.
