KDC Breaks Ground on 130K-SF Shell Data Center

Developer KDC officially broke ground on its most recent project, a 130,000-square-foot powered shell data center in Richardson, TX.  The center, which will be situated along the Telecom Corridor, will be south of KDC’s 186-acre, mixed-use CityLine development. The project at 1510 E.  Lookout Dr. near Plano Road and Lookout Drive, has a summer 2019 completion date.

Alliance Architects is designing the project, and Ridgemont is the general contractor. The new data center will feature

  • 190-MPH wind-resistant design
  • On-site substation for robust power and short electrical feeder runs
  • More than 20 network fiber carriers
  • Personal property tax abatement (city of Richardson) to span 10 years
