A Kansas City developer plans to build a $106 million high-rise apartment tower on prime real estate in the St. Louis suburb of Clayton, Missouri

KC Developer Plans $106M St. Louis Apartment Tower

A Kansas City developer plans to build a $106 million high-rise apartment tower on prime real estate in the St. Louis suburb of Clayton, reported the St. Louis Business Journal. The project, on land owned by the St. Louis County Port Authority, replaces a previous plan announced during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A conceptual plan for a 21-story apartment complex at 111-121 S. Meramec Ave. in downtown Clayton will be reviewed by the Clayton Plan Commission and Architectural Review Board. The project, from Revive Capital Development of Kansas City, would connect two properties. The architect for the proposal is Cedargreen and Lamar Johnson Collaborative.

The Clayton apartment complex would consist of 299 units and 2,000 square feet of retail. Revive Capital Development has projects on both sides of the state, including the $125 million conversion of Commerce Tower in downtown Kansas City to apartments and the $58 million mixed-use redevelopment of The Monogram Building in St. Louis.
