KBR Inks 13K-SF Office Lease in Fairfax

American engineering and construction firm KBR has signed a new, 10-year lease for 12,723 square feet at 2677 Prosperity Ave. in Fairfax, VA.

The property is a 166,266-square-foot, seven-story office building in the Merrifield area of Fairfax. The property is within walking distance of the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station and offers nearby access to Interstate 66 and Interstate 495. Office Properties Income Trust and Coakley Prosperity of Virginia own the building in a joint venture. The RMR Group manages the property.

Andy Klaff and Dominic Orcino of Newmark Knight Frank represented ownership in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Samuel Heiber and Tom Birnbach of Cresa.
