Katy South Acreage Gives Way to Tamarron Lakes Expansion

A 187-acre property in the Katy South area of Fort Bend County recently sold to DR Horton and will be used to expand its Tamarron Lakes master-planned community. The property is located south of Jordan Ranch and west of Tamarron Lakes at the future intersection of Jordan Ranch Boulevard and Tamarron Parkway.

The sale was handled by Rockspring’s brokerage team also known as Rockspring Properties led by vice presidents Chris Hutcheson, James Kadlick, Matt Herring and Harrison Kane.

“Houston’s suburbs continue to be a strong focus for national developers, and this completed deal in Katy was a great way to cap off an unorthodox year in the real estate community,” said Michael Ross, president and chief strategy officer for Rockspring. “We really didn’t take a back seat last year and a big part of that was due to the experience and hard work of our team. Rockspring’s brokerage team was well prepared in not only securing this Katy deal, but also in executing a number of additional sales for their clients throughout 2020.”
