Kaizen, KERA team up for new mixed-use project

Kaizen, KERA Team Up for New Uptown Dallas High-Rise

Kaizen Development Partners is buying 2.4 acres owned by non-profit broadcaster KERA to build a mixed-use high-rise development. As part of the deal, KERA will set up shop in the new building.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the project will include residential and commercial towers, as well as a new, community-centric broadcast headquarters for KERA, with plans to break ground at the end of 2024. The buildings are slated to open in 2027.

Kaizen will purchase 2.4 acres of KERA’s property on the southern end of the site for the new residential and Class AA office towers and oversee development of the entire site with KERA’s new building on the remaining northern end of the property.

This will be accompanied by a residential tower and roughly 20,000 square feet of restaurant/retail space with an expected delivery in 2027.

Prior to breaking ground in 2024, KERA will temporarily relocate from its current location.
