Kaiser Permanente Expands into Larger Facility in Eugene
Kaiser Permanente Northwest is relocating its Eugene office into a larger facility at Chase Gardens Medical Center, a 140,000-square-foot MOB complex in Eugene. The medical provider is taking 18,697 square feet at 360 S. Garden Way when its lease expires in 2020.
The building was built in 2006 and is one of two newer medical office buildings in the market. Evans, Elder Brown & Seubert’s Jeff Elder represented the landlord, Chase Gardens Medical LLC.
The tenant currently occupies 3,273 square feet in downtown Eugene at 100 W. 13th St. The move will allow Kaiser Permanente to expand to 18 total exam rooms and offer new services, including on-site imaging and lab work, while improving the wait times for services.
The new office will have a nurse treatment center, expanded imaging and pharmacy services and additional on-site lab services. It will also incorporate tech advances that will accommodate digital appointments, or “telehealth” services, which allows patients to complete appointments by phone, video chat or online.
