K1 Speed Go Kart Racing Venue Opens in Idaho

Indoor go kart racing operator K1 Speed has expanded into Idaho, opening its K1 Speed Boise location in Meridian, ID. The 50,000-square-foot venue showcases all-electric go karts on two elevated tracks, an arcade, private event spaces and a food and beverage lounge.

The two tracks feature elevated sections with LED lighting that can be combined into one Super Track for special race events. K1 Speed Boise has two kinds of Italian go karts, one for kids and an adult version that can reach speeds of 45 mph, making it the fastest kart in the entertainment industry.

Located at 1135 North Hickory Avenue in Meridian, K1 Speed Boise also boasts a video game and prize machine area along with the Paddock Lounge café. The company also says the venue is perfect for birthday parties and corporate events, with several private event rooms available, including a mezzanine area overlooking the facility.
