JVM Makes 10th KC-Area Multifamily Acquisition

JVM Realty Corp. has acquired Summit Ridge Apartments in the Kansas City suburb of Lee’s Summit, MO. Seller and purchase price were not disclosed. JVM Management will manage the property.

“This property is truly a perfect fit for us,” said JVM president Jay Madary. “It has the kinds of units and amenities that will appeal to today’s Class A renter in metro Kansas City, and it’s located in a thriving submarket.”

The new ownership plans full-unit upgrades and other renovations to the 432-unit apartment community. These include adding a package delivery facility with 24/7 access to residents, expanding the property’s 24-hour fitness center, and improving resident gathering spaces.

Summit Ridge represents Oak Brook, IL-based JVM’s 10th acquisition in metro Kansas City.
