JV to Develop a 183K-SF Industrial Warehouse Project in Greer, SC
A joint venture between PCCP, LLC, and Panattoni Development Company, Inc., will start construction on a Class A industrial warehouse in the Greenville-Spartanburg submarket of Greer, SC, during the spring of 2022.
The Abner Creek Logistics Center will total 182,520 square feet and feature a 32’-clear-height, rear-load, concrete tilt-up warehouse with 44 trailer parking spaces, 123 car parking spaces and 33 dock doors. The 16.5-acre site on Deyoung Road provides access to I-85 and is six miles from the Greer Inland Port, which connects to the Port of Charleston.
“This investment will target small-format industrial users, who are underserved within this high-growth area, in a BMW-proximate location,” said Ryan Dodge, SVP with PCCP.
According to the JV, the Greenville-Spartanburg area has evolved into a diverse manufacturing ecosystem with more than 145 companies announcing new locations in the area over the past five years and stimulating $7.8 billion in capital investment.
