JV Snags 868-Unit Self-Storage Facility in Palm City for $14M

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $13.9 million sale of Safe & Sound Palm City, an 868-unit self-storage facility in Palm City. The property was acquired in a joint venture between two private LLCs.

The facility consists of 78,521 rentable square feet on approximately three acres of land. Features of the facility include 216 non-climate-controlled units, 338 upper climate-controlled units and 314 climate-controlled units, which are 94% leased. The facility is also equipped with video surveillance and electronic gating, in addition to drive-up access and a freight elevator for consumer convenience.

Mike Mele and Luke Elliott of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Don Wilson of Safe & Sound, in the transaction.
