JV Snags 51K-SF Medical Office Building in Brookhaven

National healthcare real estate development and investment company Anchor Health, as part of a joint venture with an affiliate of The Carlyle Group, has acquired Brookhaven Medical Center II, a 51,429-square-foot medical office building in Atlanta’s Brookhaven submarket. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 3929 Peachtree Road, the property was developed by the G.H. Anderson & Company and The Gipson Company. The building will be anchored by Piedmont Healthcare, which established a clinical hub at the adjacent Brookhaven Medical Center I in 2015 to complement its inpatient operations at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and provide healthcare services to the community in Brookhaven and surrounding Buckhead neighborhoods. Other tenants at the property include The ENT Institute, Eye Consultants of Atlanta and Georgia Dermatology Partners.

Steve Hall, Kevin Markwordt, John Lopez and Bo Stuart of Transwestern’s Atlanta office provided leasing services for the building as well as sales advisory services for the transaction. Capital One provided debt financing.
