JV Snags 250-Room Hutton Hotel in Nashville

A joint venture between BentallGreenOak, Flank Management LP and Geolo Capital has purchased the Hutton Hotel, a 250-room hotel in Midtown Nashville in an all-cash transaction. The sales price was undisclosed.

Built in 2009, the Hutton Hotel is nearby Music Row, with two recording studios located inside the hotel. The property also features a coffee shop, all-day restaurant and a 5,000-square-foot entertainment venue that can host live music events. Additional amenities include a Tesla Model S for guest transportation, fitness center, spa and in-room record players.

Watermark Lodging Trust acquired the asset in 2013, and listed it on the company’s portfolio snapshot. The Nashville Business Journal recently reported that 137 employees at the Hutton Hotel were permanently laid off due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
