JV Secures $90M Refinancing for Resurgens Plaza Office Tower in Buckhead

Cushman & Wakefield has secured a $89.7 million leasehold loan to refinance Resurgens Plaza, a 402,929-square-foot office tower located in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket.

The 26-story LEED-Gold certified building is situated along East Paces Ferry Road and offers tenants direct connectivity to a MARTA station. Resurgens Plaza is currently 88% leased to 21 tenants with less than 25% of the rent roll expiring in the next five years. Renovations over the last three years at the property have included elevator modernizations, upgraded conference spaces, new rooftop deck, roof replacements, grand lobby renovations, new HVAC and white-boxing of vacant spaces.

Brian Linnihan and Mike Ryan of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the refinancing through lender Aareal Capital Corp. on behalf of a joint venture between Zeller and Partners Group.
