Los Angeles-based Rising Realty Partners teamed with BentallGreenOak to buy Civic Center Plaza, a 598,592-square-foot, 22-story, Class A office building in the Uptown district of Denver, CO. The asset at 1560 N. Broadway sold for $124.7 million, and is 97% leased to investment-grade and government tenants, including the state of Colorado, Regional Transportation District, Sheridan Ross and WeWork, which will soon open in the location.
Stephen Van Dusen, Paul Nelson, Jeff Weber and Cartter Berg of Eastdil Secured represented the seller, Beacon Capital Partners and Callahan Capital Partners, in the transaction. JP Leveque, Jonathan Firestone, Matt Haden, and David Magnussen, also with Eastdil Secured, represented Rising and BentallGreenOak in obtaining acquisition financing from Heitman LLC.
The property is adjacent to one of Denver’s largest, and busiest transportation hubs, as well as new housing developments and the Colorado State Capitol Building.
