JV Acquires 207K-SF Medical Office Portfolio in Huntsville

Anchor Health Properties and the Carlyle Group have acquired a 207,000-square-foot medical office portfolio in Huntsville, AL in a joint venture. The sales price was not disclosed.

The portfolio includes three recently-constructed medical office buildings with a total of 900 hospital beds in the Huntsville metro. All three facilities are located on Huntsville Hospital Healthcare System-sponsored campuses. The properties are located at 1041 Balch Rd. in Madison; 720 Gallatin St. in Huntsville; and 101 Fitness Wy. in Athens. All three buildings were developed locally by Huntsville-based Triad Properties.

Matt Tritschler of NKF’s Atlanta office represented the seller, Triad Properties, in the transaction. Capital One provided debt financing on this transaction.
