Joola to Relocate HQ to North Bethesda with its First Retail Space

Joola, a manufacturer in the pickleball and table tennis scenes, is relocating its headquarters from Rockville, Md., to North Bethesda, Md., near Washington, DC. The company has signed a lease for a 35,507-square-foot space at 915 Meeting Street, part of the Pike & Rose mixed-use development owned by Federal Realty.

The move will also include Joola’s first retail space and pickleball courts at the new location, scheduled for this fall. Joola’s CEO, Richard Lee, stated that the new headquarters provides flexibility for team expansion and allows for the opening of their first concept retail location. The lease brings the building to nearly 80 percent leased, with other tenants including Choice International Hotels and Sodexo.

JLL represented Federal Realty with a team lead by Bernie McCarthy and Danny Sheridan, while Gary Schlager and Chris Coccaro from Transwestern brokered the deal for Joola.
