Jones Street Ends 2021 with $850M in Multifamily Transactions
Boston-based Jones Street Investment Partners completed more than $850 million in multifamily transactions in 2021:
- Four acquisitions in CT and MA valued at $301 million
- Three dispositions across MA and ME that collectively sold for more than $294 million
- The capitalization of three development projects located in Boston; Kittery, MA and Portsmouth, NH.
Jones Street’s 2021 activity included 2,610 apartment units.
In CT, Jones Street acquired 1177 Greens Farms in Westport, Kennedy Flats in Danbury, and The Tannery in Glastonbury for a total of 718 apartment units. In MA, Jones Street purchased Union House, a 196-unit community located in Framingham.
In dispositions activity, Jones Street sold two MA apartment communities, Union Place in Franklin and Abbott Landing in Andover. Together, the two assets comprise 396 apartment units. In the city of South Portland, ME, Jones Street closed on the sale of a 620-unit portfolio comprised of two multifamily assets, Redbank Village and Liberty Commons.
