Jon Wood Joins Legacy from Hines to Lead SE Expansion

Foster City, CA-based Legacy Partners expanded its footprint into the Southeast by opening up a regional office near Orlando, and bringing on a commercial real estate veteran to lead the operations. Jon C. Wood joins as Senior Managing Director, Southeast, and will have responsibility for launching the Southeast presence.
Wood brings more than 20 years of CRE experience, having most recently served at Hines, where he launched and oversaw its Southeast region multifamily development platform. Earlier career stops included positions at The Morgan Group, Archstone and Trammel Crow Residential.
Legacy’s Dean Henry says, “His [Wood’s] both deep and broad experience spans more than two decades of development leadership, including leading a pipeline of 8,500 apartments throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions with a combined market capitalization of more than $2 billion.”
Legacy has five other offices across the Western and Midwestern U.S.
