Jon Wheless Named AQUILA Partner

Jon Wheless has been named partner of AQUILA Commercial in Austin, TX. Wheless joined AQUILA in 2008, and specializes in tenant representation. He also is leader of AQUILA’s corporate services department.

Wheless launched his career at AQUILA as one of the firm’s first interns. “I first met Jon when he was interning for me at The Staubach Company,” said Jay Lamy, founding principal with AQUILA. “Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure to watch him grow in the business, and I’m excited to now call him both a partner and a good friend.”

Chris Perry, another AQUILA founding principal, expressed appreciation for Wheless’ integrity, thoughtfulness and intelligence. “But most of all, he is a great guy to have the opportunity to spend time with on a day-to-day basis,” Perry added.

Wheless is a member of the Commercial Brokers Association of Austin Board of Directors, and is active with the Young Men’s Business League.
