Joint Venture Adding 1.4M SF to Ft. Worth Business Park
The thriving Carter Park East industrial park may be host to another 1.4 million square feet of buildings. A group made up of Clarion Partners, Crow Holdings Capital and Rob Riner are planning to spend $69 million on the Fort Worth project. The Dallas Business Journal reports the buildings will include a 771,000-square-foot speculative warehouse and a 645,000-square-foot speculative warehouse. The two buildings add to an industrial park totaling about 6 million square feet at completion. The developer expects both buildings to deliver by the end of next year.
Carter Park East was recently picked by Siemens as the site for a $133 million manufacturing plant at Carter Park East. The facility will create an anticipated 715 jobs and produce low-voltage switchgear and switchboards.
The industrial park is also the site of a HomeGoods distribution center. The retailer signed a 20-year build-to-suit lease at Carter Park East. The distribution center spans more than 1 million square feet.
