Johnston Joins B6 as Brooklyn Territory Manager

B6 Real Estate Advisors, the investment sales and capital advisory brokerage firm led by industry veteran Paul Massey, has hired its first Brooklyn territory manager. DJ Johnston is joining B6 as partner and senior managing director, and will oversee the Bedford Stuyvesant, Bushwick, Crown Heights and Prospect Lefferts Gardens territories.

“The ideal ‘next generation’ broker, DJ’s deep market knowledge and sophisticated sales experience will be a great asset to our growth in the Brooklyn market,” said B6 COO Neil Heilberg. “His energy, confidence and collaborative nature will provide an excellent model for our younger brokers.”

With about $1 billion in investment sales to his credit, Johnston most recently served as director on the capital markets team at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to his role at Cushman & Wakefield, he was a member of the team at Massey Knakal Realty Services, the brokerage cofounded by Massey in the 1980s.
