Johnson Controls-Hitachi Transforms Dallas Headquarters into Showroom

The recent pandemic has forced a lot of building tenants to rethink how they do business. Johnson Controls-Hitachi decided to gut many of its offices at their Dallas-area headquarters and convert them instead into a product showroom and training facility. The new Customer Experience Center features a large variety of ductless HVAC equipment in two showrooms with a full operational training lab.

The showrooms within the 10,400 square-foot facility will offer a hands-on training opportunity to contractors, technicians and installers. Johnson Controls-Hitachi’s Shoji Akiyama knew changes were needed, “As our workplace model evolved during the pandemic to a remote-friendly format, our headquarters building was underutilized…the new Customer Experience Center was the clear solution.”

The Dallas location is the second Johnson Controls-Hitachi training lab to open in North America.
