John Morris Will Join CBRE from CushWake

Veteran industrial real estate leader John Morris will join CBRE next year as the firm’s Americas Industrial & Logistics (I&L) leader. He most recently held a similar position at Cushman & Wakefield, and also helped led strategy for Cushman & Wakefield’s retail business and worked to integrate logistics practices into the service of its retail clients.

“The industrial & logistics sector is changing rapidly, driven by the ongoing strong growth of e-commerce and ever-evolving supply chain strategies,” said Jack Durburg, CBRE’s global COO. “John is the right leader to help us enhance our leadership position and seize opportunities as this important sector continues to advance.”

The Chicago-based Morris will join CBRE in November 2019 after certain employment restrictions have expired. Adam Mullen, who has been named market leader for the Philadelphia region effective this coming Jan. 1, will continue to have strategic oversight for CBRE’s I&L business until Morris arrives.
